BLOG PREFACE:

My name is Dale Kirk.  By day, I'm a TV producer and writer in the Commercial Production Department here at News Channel 5.  Basically, I write and produce commercials for local companies that want to advertise on TV.   

By night, I play the trumpet in one of Cleveland’s hottest bands, Shout!  All together, there are 13 of us in the group and we average over one hundred gigs every year.

 During the course of all those nights, many wild and crazy things have happened, on stage and off.  And so, I've decided to write this blog to give you some insight into this fun and fascinating world of a working musician in Cleveland, Ohio.
